Vision of Beauty

Your beauty is incomparable
to anything known of man.

There’s nothing more beautiful to gaze upon
across our distant land.

No river wide,
nor canyon deep;

No morning dew,
nor apple sweet.

None of these things could ever compete
With the beauty I see in you.

No shining stars
nor rippling tide;

Not the majestic mountains
nor the oceans wide.

Your spirit is etched out of pure perfection,
engineered by divine design.

Your angelic countenance and sweet disposition,
Are delightful and sublime.

You are the blinding beauty before me;
Sunlight pales when compared to thee.

I thank God each and every day,
That this vision of beauty has come my way.
