True Friendship

Two people, two friends—of the same soul.

The joy they share will never grow old.

Two people, two friends—the bond is never broken.

Though out of sight, not out of mind; no words need ever be spoken.

Two people, two friends—they both celebrate and grieve.

For what one experiences, the other believes.

Two people, two friends—apart for many years.

Though separated by time, they share the same laughter and tears.

Two people, two friends—both hearts can feel.

The pain that one has, the other can heal.

Two people, two friends—male, female, young or old.

True friendship lies in the kinship of the soul.
